Vintage Marathon Boxing Gloves

For the sports enthusiast, a vintage pair of Marathon brand boxing gloves. The Marathon brand was a name associated with quality boxing gear.

Estimated from the mid-20th century, specifically 1960.

Leather with gold piping and were described as being filled with horse hair and having an extra padding strip on the palms. The Marathon logo is embossed on each glove. There is also a number on the one glove that could possibly be 5614.
